About ETFFlowBoard
Tracking where investor capital moves across the ETF universe.
What Is ETFFlowBoard?
ETFFlowBoard is a free, publicly accessible platform that tracks ETF fund flows — the movement of capital into and out of exchange-traded funds. By monitoring these flows, investors and analysts can gauge market sentiment and identify which asset classes, sectors, and strategies are attracting or losing investor interest.
Whether you are a retail investor trying to follow institutional money, a financial professional monitoring sector rotation, or a researcher studying market trends, ETFFlowBoard provides a clear, at-a-glance view of where money is moving in the ETF market.

Where Our Data Comes From
Flow estimates are derived from publicly available information including ETF provider filings, daily AUM (Assets Under Management) disclosures, and market data aggregators. Fund flows are calculated by measuring changes in AUM relative to underlying asset price movements — when AUM grows beyond what market returns explain, the difference represents estimated net new investment (inflow), and vice versa for outflows.
All data is estimated and approximated. ETFFlowBoard is an independent, informational platform and is not affiliated with any ETF provider, fund company, or financial institution. Data is updated regularly and is intended for educational and research purposes only.
Why Fund Flows Matter
Fund flows are a powerful indicator of investor sentiment. Large, sustained inflows into a sector often signal growing confidence, while persistent outflows can indicate concern or risk aversion. By tracking these patterns alongside price data, investors can:
- Identify emerging sector rotation before price moves fully materialize
- Spot where institutional investors are allocating capital
- Monitor market-wide risk appetite through aggregate equity vs. bond flows
- Understand crowded trades and potential reversal signals
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: make sophisticated fund flow data accessible to everyone, for free. Large institutions have long had access to real-time flow analytics. ETFFlowBoard brings that same visibility to individual investors, researchers, and market watchers worldwide. All data is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute investment advice.
